A New Alpha Is Chosen

“I won’t daddy” I said to him.

“But right now I need you to promise me that you would take charge and rule the pack with honor, please do it for me” he said as he held my hands. I felt so bad and decided not to let my father down.

The next day before my father could declare me as the next Alpha, he passed on. And I was asked to either fight for the position of the next Alpha with other male wolves which some were my cousins or back down which I would never do. 

I was so sad about my father’s death that I couldn’t contact Avila. She was more hurt than me. It took me a while before I could  finally contact her.

The day for the fight had been declared. I focused on my father’s business along side on my pack training, I didn’t want anything coming between me and the title of becoming the next Alpha. I didn’t want any distractions not even this so called thing called mate. 

Sometimes I would let my wolf take control and go running in the forest, pounding my paws on the grass. I wanted Avila to be very strong, even though she is naturally. I wanted to make my father happy wherever he is by becoming the next Alpha to the pack. 

Few days after my father passed away, the day of the fight came. Few minutes to the fight, I found out that one of my uncles stole nearly half of my fathers networths and ran away from the pack before being caught by the gamma and pack warriors. 

I was very angry going for the fight, I wondered how I would bring back my father’s years of hard work back to life, anytime I remembered what my uncle had done I would become even more fierce.

During the fight I shifted into Avila who was more angry than me, my eyes were blazing dark red, I walked into the match angry that I didn’t know when I beat up all the wolves against me and became the next Alpha. 

Finally I achieved not only my own dream but also my father’s dream by becoming the first female Alpha in the moon walk pack. Many pack members weren’t still happy about me becoming the pack leader because of my fierce nature but who cares?

There were a lot of rules that came from the council concerning me becoming the first female Alpha of the pack at the age of 19+ such as “Any woman who by chance becomes the first alpha to this pack, shall not be mate with anybody lower than her title, she must only be a mate to an Alpha of her class, if she by any means goes against this rule, she must then step down from being the Alpha and must therefore transfer her title to another member of the pack who is next in line”.

After reading the rules, I accepted being the Alpha of the pack and vowed to make my father happy by granting his wish of not violating any of the rules therefore removing my mind from having a mate because i felt it would be impossible to find an alpha as powerful as me. 

I found no wolf attractive and even didn’t want to find a wolf attractive. 

With great honor and diligence, I ruled the pack, making sure that nothing goes wrong as I accomplished my promise to my father.

I did have some sleepless nights due to the fact that I had to start up my father’s business from square one all because of my uncles. 

I shouldn’t be calling them uncles.

After years of ruling the pack and hard work, I ended up becoming the strongest Alpha female both in the human world and the Wolf world.

No man or wolf could come close to me or challenge me, my yes was yes and no was no.

The pack members began to give me the respect I should have been accorded years ago.

My father’s company which was now mine began to rush in with sales.

Money wasn’t a problem to me anymore, I could run the pack easily without any problems or worries and I had been doing it for years.

I had achieved both my personal goals and my father’s.

Today I am 22 years old and It’s a windy morning, I woke up feeling strange so I allowed Avila to take over by going for a run through the forest stomping her paws through the ground as she continues to run wild into the forest. 

I couldn’t allow her run for so long because I had a meeting to attend soon.

My Beta, Aiden had recruited some new workers into my father’s company which was now mine and I needed to meet up with them telling them my company’s expectations of them.

I wouldn’t want anybody messing up my years of hard work.

I got back to my room and had my shower, changed into my work outfit, and arranged some files I’ll be needing later at the office. 

While I arrange them, My Beta walks into my room, "Erica”

“Yes, Aiden?” I replied to him.

Aiden is one of the people I trust so much in my entire life. He has been my favorite cousin since childhood.

“It's getting late already, you need to hurry up a little, you only have 47 minutes left for the meeting, you know we have to address those workers properly and also give them a tour around the company,” Aiden said to me.  

“Alright Aiden, I'm done packing my files, can we leave” I replied to him as he helps carry my bag and files to the car.

Few minutes later, we both left for the meeting.

During the ride, Avila tried to shift severally but I controlled her.

I didn't understand why she was so hyperactive today, it was unlike her. 

We got to the company and Avila was becoming more difficult to control.

“What is wrong with you?” I muttered to her.

“I don’t know, I just feel excited,” Avila said strangely.
