A SILENT GRAVEYARD

As soon as the door banged shut, she exhaled deeply. Megan did not know what had come over her. The rubbish he was spilling and the pain from his betrayal was what also fuelled her anger. She did not realize she could be like that or defend herself like that.

She walked to the house telephone on her dining wall and dialed the security number for the building she was living in. In a few minutes, they had changed the password to her house. She flopped on her bed, exhausted from the activities that took place that day. She had changed into a more comfortable cloth. Her phone rang and she stared at the caller. It was Julie. She picked it up.

"Hey, Megan. Hope you arrived safely?" Her cheery voice sounded over the phone.

"Yeah, I did. You made sure of that. Are you back yet?"

Julie chuckled. "That's true. I just got back from the grocery store."

Megan went silent for a while, she was debating if she should tell Julie.
