EPISODE THIRTY-THREE

Standing in the midst of other ladies, Sheila could not tell what trouble she had gotten herself into. She was not sure which was better, the wrath of the rich lady driver or the fury of the alpha.

Sheila wondered why the alpha would pick today of all days to meet the ladies when all she wanted was a few days away from the world around her.

In sum, there were about twenty ladies in the field, each claiming to have the green pearl. In front of them were Alpha Xavier and Beta Jasleen, and all around them were the guards, each holding tightly to his weapon.

With the gigantic figure of the alpha in front of them, no one dared to say a word. The atmosphere was so quiet that even a drop from a needle would be heard. All along, each lady looked at the other in envy, fearing that her rival might be the chosen one.
