Ashford touched his forehead. Luna looked horrified to find the mark on Ashford's forehead. She rushed over to him, grabbed him by the neck, and pulled him down to her height. He yelped as he glanced at her. She examined the mark on his forehead and stroked it.

"You kissed the mark, and now you're carrying it," Luna muttered. "You're carrying it for me."

Ashford flashed her a bright smile. "At least the mark is off your forehead for a while, and you wouldn't have to bother covering your pretty forehead."

He didn't care that the mark was on his forehead; after all, it was just a mark and nothing more.

"You can't be calm, and you also can't be seen with the mark."

Ashford pouted. "I can cover it like you do."

She shook her head. "No, I have to get it back."

The mark, which was glowing blue before, turned red. Luna backed away from him swiftly, her hand still holding him down. "It's glowing red now."
