"How does Altamunar's eye color count?" Neon asked. "It doesn't make sense; everyone can have the same color of eyes."

"Ever seen gray eyes before?" Griffin asked. "No? Of course, I know that's the answer."

Phoebe held up the book. "The book says Altamunar's eyes would be gray like the others, but they might be different. It is left for us to figure out who she is."

Luna let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Griffin looked at her.

"Why do you look relieved?" Griffin asked.

"I'm not relieved," Luna retorted immediately. "I heard from my father, and he is gone; that is something to be relieved for."

Ashford was still holding onto her, and she was grateful for the warmth he provided her.

"Their eyes would look similar to gray, and the only person who has different eyes among us is Luna," Griffin started.
