RUBY'S POV

Classes commenced immediately after the whole introduction was over and Patricia took a place at the front of the class to speak to us.

I was three weeks late to the class but they told me I hadn't missed a lot because the classes were only three times a week and I could catch up with Patricia in private.

Eased that they were interested in carrying me along, I paid attention in class and when it was time for us to paint, Patricia said to open up our minds, free our souls, be transparent with our feelings and draw what felt closest to us in our hearts.
