RUBY’S POV

The rest of the week passed in a blur. Dax took me to the gallery everyday as he insisted he would, classes were fun with everyone and I got freer with them over the space of a few days within the week and then Dax would return to pick me up once we were done for the day.

Cecelia always teased me about having a man who was obsessed over me and I would laugh over it because she didn’t know everything. She had no idea about what I had done to hurt Dax or what sort of secrets I was keeping away from him because if he knew everything, he wouldn't be obsessed with me anymore.

I didn’t bother telling her that though. I doubted if they all had any secrets they didn’t tell in the class but I couldn't bring myself to say mine because they were extreme and I didn’t want to be the most hated person in class.

So I would always divert their attention from me while looking forward to the weekend when I could visit Patricia and pour my soul out to her.
