RUBY’S POV

“Stop lying to me. Arnold would never do that” I told Dax and he shook his head as he walked toward me and I took steps back.

“Why don't you call him and ask him? Or you can ask Simon when you're leaving. Since he was also there with me” he replied and I gasped in disbelief.

Here I was thinking Dax had tortured him and told him horrifying things to send him away from me but it was just money. He offered Arnold money and he took it and agreed to stay away from me for good. He chose money over me and it was all because of Dax who decided to ruin it all.

“How could you? How could you do this to me? Why do you keep on ruining everything for me, you asshole? Why do you enjoy pissing me off all the time?” I yelled at him as I hit him on the chest repeatedly and he let me without holding me back or saying a word in response.
