Chapter Fifty Six - She Expected More

Kylie went down the stairs when she heard some noises. She found a strange woman in the kitchen cooking something up.

"Excuse me? But who are you?" Kylie asked,she stood at a distance from the strange woman in case she was a thief,but she thought of it and she knew that there was no way a thief would get into the surroundings.

"Hi Ma'am. I'm Martha. I was called by Mr Anderson to cook breakfast for you" Martha said as she cleaned her hands with a napkin.

"Scott? Ah... I'm ashamed of myself. He usually does not take employees but I don't know how to cook. This must be because of me" Kylie muttered to herself and sat down.

"What would you like me to make ma'am? Simple or elaborate?" Martha asked as she smiled.

"Simple,tartine and hot tea will do. I don't know if Scott is home but make some for him too" Kylie said and she left Martha alone to do the cooking while she went upstairs to look for Scott.
