I arrived at the dining room after getting dressed. Stephan had left, leaving a long line of curses. I couldn't be bothered with the idiot and completely ignored him.

Devon had already arrived with Grandma and Grandpa. They were sitting at the table while waiting. I greeted everybody politely before going over to sit beside Devon.

Grandpa Grey smiled at me, while Grandma Grey pretended not to hear me. Soon, Stacy came in with a few other members I didn't recognize, and she sat beside me.

Everyone started eating.

"Devon, when are you two going to get married?" Grandpa Grey said, breaking the silence. Devon paused and glanced at me. I shivered in fear and dropped my head low. The idea of marriage sounded both good and bad at the same time.

Imagine how I was in hell already when we are still engaged. What will happen when we get married then?
