Chapter seventeen

Savannah followed behind the two cute and petite maids. They never stopped talking. "I'm Tina ma'am, and this is Emily. At your gracious service." The taller one did the introductions. "I know. Mike introduced you guys earlier." She said, amused at their tirade. They gasped in shock. "You address sir Mike, your husband by his first name?" Emily asked in astonishment. "Yeah?" She asked in confusion. "Not even hunny? My love? Sweetheart? My heart? Or even my husband?" Savannah laughed uneasily. "Of course not." She answered as they got to a door. "Why?" They asked simultaneously in unbelief. "Is this my bedroom?" She asked, trying to change the topic. "Yes ma'am." They answered and unlocked the door.

She was grateful they bought the change of topic. Walking in after them, she stood at the entrance and studied the room. It was just as expected. Spacious, beautiful, colourful and befitting. But she noticed something. It was a room well befitting for just one person
