Ch0027: The High Pack Council

When I opened the huge mahogany door, Antonio clearly wanted to speak but no words came out of his mouth as he looked up wide-eyed.

I know I look shitty but I didn't expect my Omega to be so obvious about it. My eyes darkened and he immediately lowered his head.

"Alpha," He bowed and I turned around, making way for him to walk in.

I took up the swiveling chair in the study and waited for him to speak.

"We just got news this morning, alpha. Dante has gone over there . He couldn't be present here so I had to come to you."

My jaws tightened as I waited for him to continue. Judging from his tone, I could already tell the news was nothing good. Was another wolf killed? Is it one of ours this time?

I was quite impatient but I quickly realized my angry aura was making the omega scared to get words out of his throat.

I remember the times I used to discriminate against omegas simply because they were too weak and easily scared. That's why I quickly bonded with Dante.
