“Kiara is going to get a good beating tonight!” Ivaan said. He was sitting next to Nikhil in the passenger seat and they were heading home. Nikhil didn’t respond to Ivaan’s statement, and the latter looked at him.

“Dad, are you listening to me?” Ivaan asked again and this time Nikhil glanced at him.

“Yeah,” He responded casually.

“You know, she proposed this idea to me when she came to our house with Riya and then today again. Kiara will get some peace of mind this time, Mishka auntie was so angry, I could literally see her boiling in anger,” Ivaan said, widening his eyes and Nikhil raised his eyebrow.

“What?!? She said this before as well?” He asked, and Ivaan nodded.

“Yeah, but I said no!” He answered.

“Why did you say no?” Nikhil asked and his question confused Ivaan.

“What do you mean?” He asked but Nikhil shrugged it off.

“Nothing, let’s get you home. You’ve school tomorrow.” He changed the topic, focusing on the road.
