Since Alceo left that morning, I couldn't help but wonder where he was. What he left to do without saying anything to me. Maybe Diego was right, I didn't stop loving Alceo, I just shut that part away from me and transferred every love I had into Cael.

A knock forced me out of my reverie, I reached for the gun first and tiptoed to the door.

My eyes went to the wall clock, it was 5 minutes past 10pm. I cocked the gun and held it beside my head.

“Marianna it's me,” I heard his voice and I hurriedly put the gun away.

I unlocked the gun and he walked in with a bag beside him. He had changed his look and taken care of his messy face. I rushed into his arms, hugging him tightly.

He was caught unaware, so it took some time for him to wrap his arms around me.

“I was so worried, I thought something had happened to you,” I quickly cautioned myself and disengaged from the heart-warming hug.

“I got something for you,” he said, dropping the bag beside me.

“What is this?”
