As we walked past some buildings which were all arranged in a row, all looking alike, I thought I picked Estelle's scent. I stopped abruptly and sniffed again, harder but I couldn't find it anymore. Maybe i didn't hear it in the first place, I controlled myself not to growl because I knew l'll scare Sophie. She didn't seem to notice my reaction behind her, she was just skipping gleefully between the crowd. "He'll be at home, his shift today t is until later " she said as we turned down into a street, after passing a few houses, she finally stopped in front of one. It had a little gate, closing up the fence. "Dad?" Sophie called as we entered the house , unlocking the door. I was welcomed with the smell of freshly baked pastries. My stomach growled in response to the smell, Sophie looked back at me and giggled. "You're still hungry?" She asked and I nodded.
