CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN

MARY LYNELLE'S POV

We’ve been here in Manila for almost a week. The days fly so fast, that makes me feel like it was just yesterday since we got back here. Today is the wedding day of Henry’s friend. The wedding was simple and sudden. It is surprising that both of them were rich, but they chose a simple wedding.

They were in too much of a hurry. After all, it’s not about how long or how fast they’ve been in a relationship as long as they love each other that’s all that matters.

I hurried to get dressed, thinking that my parents had been waiting downstairs for a while. I thought of putting on a light make-up, maybe it would suit my peach color dress. I looked in a mirror in front of me and when I noticed that I was in good shape, I took the purse suit from the dress that was on the bed.

They looked at me as I went down the stairs. The three of them were sitting on the sofa next to each other and facing the television, engrossed in watching cartoons.
