CHAPTER 78 COMPETITION BEGINS

Aiva's POV

The competition is today. I didn't see Leo all night and I still haven't seen him today. I know I went too far with what I said but I didn't mean it that way. I'm just frustrated that he wants me to take a break when I should be training hard.

Jasper came to pick me up himself. I entered his car looking gloomy and he noticed it.

"What's wrong Jillian? Did something happen to you? You don't look good." He still calls me by my birth name.

I sighed, "I said some things to Leo yesterday and I didn't mean it. Now, he's mad at me and won't even talk to me."

He smiled, "I know he's mad at you but he can't see you at this time. He's expected to stay away from you."

"What do you mean?" I asked, getting confused.

"You know he's the chief judge of the competition right?"

I nodded, "I know that already but what has that got to do with anything?"

"He can't be seen talking to you before your match. It's going to make it seem like he's cheating since he's not your official teacher."
