I didn't know if Elise knew that Solis was disabled. Was it her own way of punishment? I checked my hair to see that the credit card was gone, the last time I checked it was secured.

My spine straightened as terror went through me raw.

“What is it?." Solis asked, I turned to him.

I had been sitting on the couch for what seemed like an eternity, even when he invited me to his large beautiful bed.

I turned away from him, refusing to meet his eyes or acknowledge him.

“Are you hungry?."

“Are you asking me that because I look like a fucking skeleton?."

“Yes."

No sugarcoating... I remembered what Ruiz said, he would send me to the butcher, I don't care.

“Well, before you decided to... Rescue me, I was starving to death."

My words seemed to touch him in some way.

“Are you hungry?." He asked me again, my stomach grumbled.

“No." I said, I would not swallow my pride....

He went through his phone and called someone.

Ruiz came moments later with food, my mouth watered and yet I didn't want to eat
