Chapter 128

“Please!!!” Emma screamed out of her sleep. She instantly sat upright, gasping in fear. She looked around her cell, but there was no sign of Valerie. It was all a dream.

“Oh my God,” Emma cried and crawled closer to the wall, curling herself there with her chin on her knees.

She kept her teary eyes on the cell door, afraid of her dream becoming reality.

“Liam, please come for me…" Emma muttered, tears streaming down her cheeks. “I can't do this anymore. I'm so scared,”

Her hands went to her chest and she squeezed her dress tightly. More tears slipped from her eyes, but she didn't lose focus on the cell door.

“Liam,” Emma called, her breath turning into ragged gasps. “Liam,”

Mentioning his name seemed to bring some comfort to her.

“Take me away from here,” Emma sobbed.

She kept staring at the door for hours and when it creaked open, her heart almost leaped out of her chest.
