Emma saw Liam, lying motionlessly on the floor. Her eyes widened, and her heart pounded terribly in fear.

She let out shuddering gasps as her feet made their way to him. She fell on her knees and turned him upwards, making him face her.

Seeing his eyes closed made her more scared. Her attention got so fixed on him that she didn't notice the alcohol smell in the air.
