Liam might have done nothing wrong to Alex, at least not directly but he was going to hurt him because of Emma.

Alex knew that Emma had feelings for Liam and from everything he learned from Elizabeth, he realized that Liam meant a lot to Emma.

He would first deal with Liam then Emma's kids would be next on the list. He would go for Roland lastly because he seemed to be the strongest and required more planning to deal with.

Alex removed the mask from his face and dropped it on the dressing table. He stared at the mirror with a smirk on his lips.

Having Liam's face would open a lot of doors to him and he wasn't just planning to look like him, he was planning to be him.
