The drive to the hospital was fast and yet so damn painful.

Elena couldn’t sit still even for a second, her chest tightening at the thought of Caleb being hurt, crying and asking for his mom who could no longer hear his calls. Her heart broke for the millionth time, knowing no one would ever be able to fill that void inside him.
