Maeve POV

I walked around the pack; there were dead bodies everywhere, but not much from my pack. I could barely see any dead warriors, which made me proud because all that training showed they fought would have been devastated if they were to die like the rogues because we trained them hard.

“Where are you?” I mind-link Ario.

“At the factory,” he replied, and I walked towards the factory. The factory is where the rogues are kept and experimented on. Getting there, I saw all of them standing by a body, and I could hear Maya crying. Getting there, she was crying on Felix’s dead body.

“You killed him?” I asked, standing beside Ario.

“I was about to, but she killed him herself,” he said, still staring at Maya.

“Why did she kill him?” I asked, surprised.

“He has been so horrible to her; he would rape or sleep with any female that came his way, abuse Maya, and treat her like his puppet; one time he almost armed their pup, Lana,” Odin said, and we all kept quiet.
