CHAPTER 23

I hadn’t planned to stay away from Gia the entire weekend but it worked out that way and it was good for her. She’d be pissed off but would come around. My crew came to my dorm as soon as the lockdown was lifted and we spent the time strategizing. We knew the shit with Matteo was not over.

“What about off campus and completely out of town?” Andre asked. “If no one talked, they could never prove it.”

“Do you trust his crew to keep quiet if I kill him? Each is almost as bad as he is.”

“It’s a crew fight,” Marino interjected. “We end it with a crew fight.”

“Every person involved won’t graduate, at least not this year. I won’t come back so it’s a death sentence for me but I’m sick of this fucker. Each of you need to decide.” This was my stand and if my crew didn’t back me up, I would go it alone.

“Like we aren’t in this, fucker,” said Lorenzo. “Graduation is nothing but a sheet of paper and won’t change my shit when I leave.”

“I’m in.”

“Agreed.”

“Got your back.”
