A Warm Welcome

“Someone seems to be in a grumpy mood!” Ryder happily exclaims much to Scarlett’s annoyance. She scowls at him and fastens her seatbelt.

That morning, she woke up in Ryder’s arms which shocked her. The pillow barrier was gone and she was tangled up with him. Furthermore, the incident from the night before flashed before her eyes and she yelped in shock.

Ryder, on the other hand, is completely amused by her reactions. He teased her all morning which only made her blush harder.

“One more word and I’ll-” Scarlett starts to warn but Ryder cuts in.

“Kiss me?” He teases her. “Please do so-”

Scarlett pushes him away which makes him pout.

“And here I thought that my wife caught a glimpse of my excellent kissing skills last night!” He sighs out loud. “You can’t even hide that mark properly.”

“Y-you bit me too hard!”

Scarlett tried to use concealer to hide the love bite on her neck but to no avail. She ties her scarf tighter, hoping no one will see it. She’s dressed in a soft beige suit which
