“Madam, we’re here,” the chauffeur informs her. Scarlett is broken out of her reverie and she realizes that she has reached the party’s venue, Hotel Vienna. She doesn’t know why her mind is playing the memories of her wedding. Her heart is at unease as usual and she has forgotten what peace feels like.
