CHAPTER 130: MIDNIGHT ESCAPE

I quickly left the room and slowly closed the door to make sure Angel wouldn't wake up. Luckily, there was no one around, so I started to go down the stairs.

I went back upstairs when a woman passed by. She must be one of the household helpers and she looked very sleepy. When she left, I quickly headed to the back of the house. I couldn't pass through the main gate because the guard would surely see me.

There's a small hole in the garden of the mansion that leads to the river. Once you cross the bridge, you'll reach the street. When I reached the bridge, I quickly crossed it and hurriedly walked down the dark path.

There were no streetlights on this road, only the moonlight accompanied me as I walked. Luckily, I had my phone with me and I used it as a flashlight.
