Jack's PoV
Everything around me is all dark, I couldn't see anything like I am being sucked into a dark abyss.
I walked around but still nothing however, there was whispers around me, although I couldn't decipher what they were saying but one thing for certain is that they don't have any ill intent towards me, so I tried to following the voices but it didn't lead me anywhere, the voices were coming from different directions making it look like I'm going one way but then another so basically I'm just going around in a loop, so in short... Jack's PoV It has already been half a year since I stayed in the academy, the twins are still acting as Alice's bodyguard who now is a true alpha after his father has stepped down his role about a month ago so he is super busy. Jack's PoV As Alice pulled me into his room, he quickly locked the door and faced me with a really angry look with his eyes changing colour from his green to gold meaning his wolf is going out of control. Alice's PoV It is already morning, Jack who was sleeping in my arms is sound asleep, he was soo adorable and sweet that I want to keep staying like this and keep hugging him but that cannot happen as I am the alpha now. Jack's PoV It has already been another 2 months since I found out Alice is my mate. We became closer, acting like friends but not too long ago, Alice asked me out on a date which I agreed to and one thing led to another and I am currently along with the boys in Alice's pack house. I have stayed at Alice's house since the past few weeks since the academy has closed down due to a massive decrease of staff members leading to not enough teachers teaching the large amount of students. Unknown PoV “Are the preparations done?“ I asked in a monotone voice “Yes, everything is under our control. Alice's PoV During the meeting, we discussed the incidence of the attack and which borders did the rouges cross and it seems this attack was pre-planned beforehand but who has the power to take control of rouges who are starved from their rationality? And more specifically why? “It would seem this is not the end of the attack, it is likely a second wave would approach us any time soon, we must ensure the safety of the women and children” one of the officers said. Alice's PoV The scent of Jack was wavering in the thick blooded air, but it must have been my imagination, the rouges has fallen one after another. A dark shadow approached me acting as my protection, killing the rouge who tried to stab from behind, I was in a daze in seeing the shadows movement, the physique looks slim and feminine but also so familiar... Getting a closer look when the shadow approached, I felt so comfortable and safe with no doubt, I was caught in it's beautiful eyes that looks so dazzling and glorious as if I am sinking in it. The words coming out of her mouth, “be careful Alice” caught me off guard and the next thing I said was “Jack?“ before he fell catching a arrow that shot right through him who was trying to protect me. As the scene slowly registered into my head, I was crying unconsciously with Jack between my arms, I rushed into the infirmary and demanded the doctors to come and check him.
