Marias pov

I turned seeing Rocco had been shot, his blood smeared to the dark oak flooring as it soaked through his black blazer. He was laying on his back his knees bent to balance as he reached his gun out in front of him in aim for the man at the door.

Vince was stood with a smooth smile, that gentle smile he had aimed at me only a short time ago. his gun aimed for Rocco, but his eyes were on me.

“Stop, hold fire” I screamed. “Stop, stop, stop” No more death. No more death. I panicked.

Vince cocked his head to the side his eyes drifting down my body across the floor to the man lying in front of him.

“Please, no more death” I Shakely straightened out my composure. I was trying to be strong but my lips where quivering giving away the fear that I was feeling.
