Part 2- chapter 5
The chains clinked as Carlos was lowered to the ground. A gruntled moan leaving his lips at the now cold concrete beneath his skin. I dropped to my knees beside him, lifting his head into my lap.
His head resting between my hands as I gently smoothed his skin in hopes of somehow comforting him.
"La princesa de la mafia" Carlos coughed.
"I am so sorry Carlos," I cried. This was my fault,all my fault.
The corner of his lips twitched a crooked smile "Nothing a couple of bandaids can not fix Mi amor" his voice cracked.
