Lucien's pov-
I sat with a whisky in hand.
This was bullshit I thought to myself, watching how everyone was calmly interacting with Carlos Asif he had not been involved in Maria's disappearance.
Maria insists he's not to blame but I couldn't give two shits on what she thought of the situation. He can not be trusted.
I shot the last of the whisky from my glass. I don't like this, not one bit. I inwardly seethed as I watched Maria Let out a laugh at Carlos praising Aimee's paella dish with exaggeration.
I clenched my jaw. It was sickening to even watch as I refilled my glass.
