Chapter 6

Maria POV

I went out to the garden of the house where my children and I lived, trying to clear my mind and think about what I should do.

"Look who is enjoying his time here, little Derek is causing trouble and you are sitting here without reacting."

It seems that I will not be able to breathe or sit quietly on my own, even for a little while.

"The Lycan King, the one who never leaves me alone, what do you want me to do? You can expel us if you want, I don’t know why you don’t do that," I said without looking at him. I know his voice well, as he is here all the time.

He sighed and smiled sarcastically, then added, "I brought you very happy news, but I don't know if it will be happy for you or not."

I turned to him with my eyebrows furrowed, "Any news? There’s no need to procrastinate. Tell me quickly, what’s going on?" I was bored because of his manner, which I hate so much.

"The Werewolf Kingdom is having a big celebration," he added, smiling maliciously.

My heart still beats hard when I hear anything about the werewolf kingdom. A lot has happened to me because of them. "I don’t think I would care about this. I don’t want to hear anything about this kingdom."

He came very close to me and put his hand around my waist, then said while looking into my eyes, "The King of the Werewolves will crown Luna for the pack tomorrow. He will marry a girl from the royal family."

Did I hurt? Yes, I was very hurt. I feel like my heart was broken into millions of pieces. Yes, I hate him so much and I hate what he did to me, but why does my stupid heart hurt now?

"It seems that the matter has become of concern to you now. Your mate will marry, my dear Maria, and he will touch and love another girl," he added sarcastically in my ear.

I pushed him away from me and headed home cursing everyone.

"Go to him and don’t make him marry Maria," Roya said inside my head.

I did not answer her with anything. I closed the door behind me and sat down. I felt tears wet my face. I began to wipe away my tears violently. "We will go, but not to prevent him from getting married. We will go to bless his marriage."

I stood up weakly and headed towards my room. The pain in my heart did not stop but rather became worse. I could barely see where I was going and tripped twice. I took off my clothes and lay on the bed.

Roya was very sad, and I was very sad too. I just wanted to be special to someone. I wanted him to accept me as a mate, I didn't want much.

I knew I had to escape this hell somehow. I used to bear it because of the idea of having a safe place for me and my children, but now I don't want to stay here either. I will go to this wedding and then I will take my children and go from here to a place where no one will know me.

The coronation of the new Luna will be tomorrow evening when the moon is full.

After that, I fell into a very deep sleep. Darkness surrounded me from everywhere.

Alexander POV

The whole kingdom is preparing for the coronation party tomorrow. They are decorating the whole place. I don't feel happy, but I have to do this thing. I have to bring Luna an heir to the kingdom. Diana is the most suitable person to be Luna.

"No matter how hard you try to convince yourself, you will never be able to accept it. The bond between us and our mate has not been broken yet," Derek added sarcastically inside my head.

I was going to argue with him now, but Adrian came back from the Wizarding Kingdom and entered my office quickly, really saving me from arguing with Derek.

"Alpha, I didn't come alone. I brought three people who saw the vision," Adrian added seriously.

I sighed boredly while rolling my eyes, "Why do you make this issue so much bigger than it is, I don’t understand." Then I motioned for him with my hand to let them enter.

A witch named Sadeem spoke, "There is a bad vision of the future."

Another magician called Albert continued, "We saw three twins in the vision and not one child. No one will be able to stand in front of them, especially the child who possesses the black wolf."

"What nonsense is this? Patricia said one child, and now you say twins." I responded very angrily.

"They are not bullshit, Your Majesty. We must get rid of them before they grow bigger and stronger." Elena, the third witch, added.

"They are a danger to everyone. We do not know if they are good or not, so we must get rid of them no matter what." Albert added again.

"Since you know everything, where are they then?" I asked seriously.

"We don't know where they are yet, but since they are a danger to everyone, they must be killed," Elena added.

"Although I feel that this is just speculation and nothing more, to take precautions, and spread the news to all the kingdoms. It will be much easier since there are not many twins in the kingdoms. The search will be easy and quick. Go to all the kingdoms and examine all the twins, and when you are sure that they are... Those concerned, kill them, and make this news to all the kingdoms."

Everyone nodded and bowed to me and then left the room and left. I don't know why I feel like I will regret this decision.

"This is nothing new these days. I think this won't be the only thing you'll regret." As usual, Derek couldn't remain silent.
