Lain stood there not moving a muscle and I stared at him in disbelief. It was typical of him to break his promises but I didn't expect him to do that to Rogue.

I scoffed in annoyance and ran after Rogue.

"Honey please come back."

My heart was pounding frantically in my chest because I couldn't see her anywhere.

Tears filled my eyes as I ran outside calling after Rogue.
