Chapter 79
MIRACLE POV
A whole day has passed without any food, water and any interaction. It feels like I am dead.
Sighing, I lay down on the bed. The burning pain in my wrist and ankle is growing to an unbearable degree.
Staring at the ceiling seems to be the only thing I can do right now. I should have made a whole plan before plunging in this dark sea of never-ending torture.
Cain is right. I act on impulses and I never use my head. I don’t even know how I can make Elijah believe that I love him when I can never love him.
All of a sudden, the door to the room opens and I look in the door’s direction. To my surprise, I see a new face. A woman.
She walks towards me in silence. I see her dilated pupils and heave a heavy breath. The woman is compelled.
“ King wants you to get ready and come down. ” She speaks in a trance as she nears me.
