Jared didn’t know what to ask so he simply noted everything in his mind.

“Since you’re new, I would caution you against using too much spices. When you taste it, you might think it’s bland but as it cooks, the flavors would come out stronger. You can make adjustments when it’s done. It’s easier to remedy a bland dish than a salty one.”

His lip twitched but he understood the lesson. He nodded in acknowledgement.

“Alright. Have a taste and tell me what you think.”

“It’s good?”

“Hmm, it should be. I’ve made this dish a thousand times already.”

“You can try making this one next week. We’ll cook something else tomorrow.”
