“You asked my mom?”
“Yes.” He seriously didn’t want to talk about it, but she seemed interested.
“Really? What did she teach you?” She recalled the dishes he has made and felt as embarrassed as him when she realized. Damn. He made her favorite dishes! It was her turn to cough and blush.
Jared scratched the back of his head as he tried to indifferently answer her questions.
She wasn’t sure how to proceed. What he did was endearing. She’s not too dumb to think he didn’t do it for her. But it was really unexpected! She would never have thought he would do something like it. She could only imagine how her mom taught him.
