Chapter 63 – Another Date

“Try the shoes. If it doesn’t fit right, I’ll get it replaced.” He bent down, took the shoes off the box and eventually kneeled in front of her. She didn’t like looking down at him so she sat on the edge of the bed.

“You got me another gift?” She became curious as it was unexpected. He actually thought to replace the necklace just because she wasn’t using it?

She was slightly bothered when he touched her feet and fitted them to the shoes.

“How’s the fit? Isn’t it tight?”

“It’s just right, I think.”

He stood and offered her a hand. “Try walking with them. See if it doesn’t hurt you.”
