PAISLEY'S POV

A week had passed and on this day, I was standing next to Killian in front of the whole Werewolves of Night Pack. I was about to be announced as Killian's mate and Luna and I could see that most of the wolves were not really supporting the idea of me being Luna.

I could hear the disagreeable chattering coming from the crowd and they were all saying distasteful things about me. This was expected so I didn't really allow it to affect my emotions.

"Silence!" Killian shouted, as they all hushed at once. "You all do not have a say in who I chose to be my Luna, when the moon goddess gave her to me as a mate, she had a reason… A good one" Killian paused as he looked at me in a faint smile and took my hand into his. "Paisley is my better half and I assure you that she is going to be the best Luna for The Night Pack" Killian said as I smiled internally and the crowd started cheering, it didn't sound like a happy cheer to me. They were only cheering because they had to.
