Glaring at him, she muttered some inaudible things that he couldn't hear because she only moved her lips as though she said something.

"And I told you that it was an insult. I'm seventeen so stop telling me such things," she complained.

"You are seventeen, so say it," he dared her.

"I'll say it tomorrow," she said as she walked away from the window and was walking to the door but he pulled her back.

"Annabelle, are you normal, didn't you learn biology?" he asked her frustratingly.

"I didn't," she replied gently because he wasn't pleased.

"But you studied zoology?" he asked with raised eyebrows.

"Alvin let me go. I said I'll say it tomorrow," she said as she tried pulling her hand off his grip, but it was impossible.
