Chapter Thirty-four

" it seems like you know, so tell me," I said. The sensation of his fingers on my skin caused a tingle to spread. I didn't stop him, I just waited for him to say it.

" You are my mate"

I would have laughed at that but I was confused with the way my body reacted to his touch just like it does with Adam, but one thing I was sure of was that he was not my mate. Even my wolf growled at him.

"You are not my mate," I told him confidently and he laughed.

"I mean potential mate," he said smiling.

"What does that mean?" I asked, I don't think I have gotten to the place in that book where they talked about potential mates. He held my hand and took me to the edge of the field where there were wooden chairs. We sat down and I discretely tried to move my chair a bit away from him. It still didn't go unnoticed by him but he didn't do anything instead he just smiled.
