Evan looked at him in disbelief, I was also shocked but somehow I trusted him. I just wish he would tell us his plans.

" But Adam, that is...."

"Do as I say, Evan" he interjected not taking his eyes off the rock. Evan huffed and left angrily.

" You could hold this, I already took a sample. We will go home and study it, then give you feedback" Sabrina said handing over the vial back to Adam. He collected it and placed it on his table. The aunties sat down waiting for what Adam had to say next, while Adam rested on his desk mindlinking someone.

"Is there a way you could help us with the border, the magic barrier is fading. It won't be good if we have to add humans to our worries right now". Adam asked. " We had a human walking past it two weeks ago. That is Alaia here."

Their head turned to me, a look of shock on their faces. I chuckled awkwardly.

" You were human?!" Aunty Elda exclaimed and I nodded my head in confirmation, I didn't think it was hard to believe.
