Helen narrates.

I had talked to my boss to change my patient, but apparently, I was at my ex-husband's house most days, so there was no remedy; I had to continue seeing Dylan every day of my life, or I would lose my job, and I definitely couldn't do that. My little Dylan went to soccer practices on weekends, and he had to pay that monthly fee, in addition to his school, which, although it was public, asked for a lot of money to repair it.

I went to bed tired, after leaving my beautiful angel in her room. I touched my necklace, which I always covered with my nurse shirt, and closed my eyes imagining Dylan. Having him so close again caused me so many feelings that I didn't know how to describe it.

"And Amanda? And Marina? Where were they?” I wondered when I remembered them.
