Chapter 17

Hayley missed her chance to hang out with her new classmates. Unfortunately, because of that stupid Kenji, she had to decline Elea and Jasper's offer. And just when she waited for Kenji, his mother, Shelby had called her so suddenly asking her out. Because she's pissed with Kenji, she ditched him and accepted Shelby's invitation.

Mrs. Maledict sent her a chauffeur and on her way to meet Shelby, that's when Kenji called. She picked up and had a pretty loud conversation. It was short and she ended up hanging up on him. Oh, she's so pissed so she just kept on rejecting his calls.

They stopped by a famous cafe in the city and another man opened up her door. She then carefully steps outside, remembering that the wind might blow her short skirt. 

Inside, she was escorted by the man who opened the door for her. In one corner, she sees Shelby plastering a sweet grin on her face upon seeing her. 

"My lovely, Hayley!" Shelby stand up to embrace her an
