Chapter 18

When Hayley woke up, she found herself alone in Kenji's bed. She knew it's a school day and she knew if she stayed thinking for another 30 minutes she will be running late for school. The thing is, she remembers everything that she did last night, including the kiss. It's just she thought it was a dream.

Now she's kicking the blanket off her, cursing herself for being so dumb, slapping her forehead slightly, and biting on her lower lip. Aish! She just hopes when she goes out Kenji is not there anymore. 

In front of the door, she reached for the doorknob and inhaled deeply. She blew it out and turned the doorknob, pushing the door open. She peeked outside with orphan eyes. 

When the outside seemed peaceful, she open the door wide and stepped outside. She silently walks through the little hallway that they have and into the living room. With one hand on her chest, she sighed heavily.
