The Unexpected Past

The sunlight was streaming through the curtains, gently rousing Silver from her slumber. She opened her eyes and blinked, in confusion taking in the luxurious surroundings.

The bed was enormous and covered in silky sheets. The walls were painted a soothing shade of blue, and the furniture was elegant and ornate. A window looked out onto a lush green garden, complete with a sparkling pool and a view of the ocean beyond. The air had a subtle scent of seaweed and sand. It was then she remembered where she was.

"I can't believe I'm in Mále!!" She let out a shriek of delight, jumping up and down on the bed like a child. Her hands flailed around as she bounced up and down, her messy hair flying everywhere.

She bounced so hard that the bed shook, threatening to collapse under her exuberance. She didn't care though, she was too excited. She started punching the pillows, yelling at the top of her lungs. The thrill of being in Mále was too much for her to contain.
