Chapter 14

Elena stumbled to her feet, gathering her purse and the remains of herself. The car didn't look like it was going to move again. She had seen this before, knew this gesture and the pain it always brought her. No. She wasn't going to fall for this again.

Smith, her ex-boyfriend, was the worst thing that had happened to her. He vowed to follow her to the ends of the Earth, and he was doing just that. Imagine a man who stormed into her office during one of her interviews with a potential client and grabbed the man by the collar. Threatening he'd kill him if he found him anywhere near his girlfriend.
