13. Distract with work.
I woke up the next morning with the nightmare of him kissing me. Ugh, why am I getting these nightmares again and again? I said while sitting back on the seat. I checked my phone and there were notifications from the wedding agency. I didn't check my phone before going to bed, they must have sent it at that time.
I checked the notifications and they sent different locations with lake view. They were all beautiful. I was checking the locations when I heard a groan from beside."What are you doing early in the morning?" Celine asked still with a sleepy voice while sitting back on the bed."The wedding agency sent the locations for a wedding, last night. They are amazing, here have a look." I said while giving the phone to Celine. She took my phone with one hand and was rubbing her eye with the other. She shook her head and checked the locations."All are good. What will you choose?" I couldn't sleep. Everything Martin said was reminding of mum, the flashbacks of the time I spent with her were flashing in front of my eyes every time I close my eyes. I still remember her warm smile and the safe feeling I get when I'm in her arms. It reminded me of the incident of my school year, on mum's birthday. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Flashback: I was in middle school and it was mum's birthday and dad couldn't make it. He went to Wales for a business meeting and made a promise that he will be back by the day of mum' birthday. But like always he broke the promise. "Dad, you were supposed to be at home by midnight. You promised me." I said on the phone. "I know, son. I'm sorry, the meeting was postponed. I talked to your mum about this, she wasn't angry about it. I'll make it up next time." Dad apologized. But he didn't sound sincere like always.

The manager showed us the different styles and seeing them made me realize how sorry I am for the 'Man' kind. They literally have dress styles on finger count, unlike women. We, women, have too many different styles for dresses. So many that if a girl starts wearing one new dress every day not repeating the dress she wore till her death, there will still be plenty of dresses left.
