Alicia POV

"Are you hiding something from me, Ren?" I ask him instead, and his mouth drops open as he stares at me blankly. Silence assumes the atmosphere for another one minute, and I'm beginning to think that he's really hiding something from me.

"Is everything alright? You can talk to me if something is bothering you. I promise to help you solve it, just please stop doing this," I plead with him as a drop of tears slid down the corner of my cheek. I try to go close to him, but he steps away from me and throws his gaze away.

"I'm fine. I'm not hiding anything from you. Excuse me. I will be in my room," He says hurriedly before he walks past me.

"For how long are you going to avoid me?" I ask him out of the blue, and he stops abruptly on his track.

"Do you know how much it hurts that you're suddenly treating me like this? Do you know the pain I'm feeling inside, Ren? Yes, I know I was wrong, and I am starting to correct my mistakes, but treating me and your child like this
