Chapter 33

Sophia was halfway through the room on her knees when Andrew knocked on the door. She heaved a sigh of relief as she heard his voice. He was her saving grace front that moment.

"I looked for you in your room earlier and you weren't there. Why?" William asked with a commanding tone.

He had pushed the sheets off him as he stood up from the bed and walked over the bed. He did not even bother to tell Sophia to stand up or adjust herself when he swung open the door. As he swung the door open, Andrew caught a little glimpse of Sophia in her crawling position before she immediately adjusted herself and sat well on the ground.

"Come in. You are beginning to get on my nerves these days" he said in a more commanding tone. Andrew walked in and gently closed the door behind. He smiled as he looked at his cousin.

"Cousin… you need to take it easy. Work has got you stressed and you're taking it out on me. Take it easy.. how about a drink afterwards" he said to his cousin with another smile.
