Chapter 43

"Andrew. Did you happen to see anything in the bathroom?" Sophia asked him. She needed to be sure she wasnt getting involved with another psycho. He looked at her wryly and smiled.

"Why would you ask that?" He paused to look in the bathroom's direction. "Is there something in the bathroom?. If there is, I haven't been there. I just came in about an hour before you came up. I've been in the closet the whole time. What's in the restroom?" He asked her back.

Sophia took a deep breath. She didn't need to worry about him if he wasn't the one who had the knife in there.

"Oh. It's nothing. I just thought I saw something. Let's get back to you. How are you and what happened that day? Did he hurt you?" She said to him, "Andrew held her face in his hand and kissed her forehead." You're all that matters. I'm just glad that you're okay. Anything he did or didn't do to me doesn't matter. I've missed you and I'm so glad I could see you again"
